Ego is the Enemy

awesome book.  going to buy hard copy.

Honestly I was skeptical going in.  How can someone who is 29 have wise thoughts?  Don’t successful people have big egos?  Didn’t this guys’ previous career = working for American Apparel and writing fake blog posts?

Also there’s typically two types of self-improvement literature/life philosophy/you know what I mean.  One is stoic and scoldy and depressing.  The other is achieve your dreams and reach for the stars and etc.  Holiday does a good job of tying the two together and making sense of things.

thank you dilletante.  (btw his blog is good, lots of interesting thoughts and suggested reading, he or the amazon reviews can explain EitE better)

I recently found out that Dom Mazzetti, the author of BroScience YouTube videos, has published a book with a reputable, big-name publisher. The kind that, like, pays pro advances. The book is about BroScience and bro-lifting.

Thankfully I’m not prone to depression.
