Don’t Call It A Comeback

Wolverine trained for the first time since the meet yesterday.

Andy and George walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes or so, and then stretched and foam rolled.

Shockingly Emilio was back in the gym on Wednesday and actually squatted 355 for several sets of 3 in knee sleeves which is more than I did that day.

But I try harder than anyone…

Weight: 190.0

Manta Ray Squat: 45×6, 135×3, 225×2, 275, 300, 305, 310, 315, 320, 325, 330, 335, 340, 345; 255x10x3

TMRSV: 7650

Hamstring(s) felt great today.

Medium Grip Bench: 45×10, 95×6, 135×4, 175×3, 215×3, 255×2, 295×2, 335, 355

Slingshot Bench: 365, 395, 420

Medium Grip Bench: 225,230,235,240,245,250×5

TMGBV: 7125

The reason I reset my bench volume is that I need to do more sets without spotters.

Sumo+Average Bands: 5 sets, all PRs up to 230 off 3″ deficit

Good Mornings: 45,95,135 x 5

Time: 2 hours

  1. Good mornings are cool. I did rounded back good mornings cuz the Russians did them. I think my max was like 130 for 5 or something. If you want a really cool hamstring stretch find a 45 degree back extension and hold the bottom of it and/or do reps touching your toes with your fingers.

  2. i did these the arched back way and probably will discontinue soon when ham is better. have gone up to like 365×3 or something crazy with these

the back extension … i kind of like better for when my back is sore and never could get much ham stretch out of it but i might give it a try tomorrow just to check and see. thx for urging me.
