Workout #49 – Sat, 11/23/13 – Front Squats, Too?

So excited about my new squat “progress” that I wanted to do them a third day in a row.  Decided to stick with front squats, but I did them the new way – feet closer, ATG.

Front Squats: 45×4, 95×3, 135×3, 175×2, 205×1, 225×1, 245×1, 255×1, 265×1, 275×1, 285×1, 295×1, 300×1, 305×1, 310×1; 225,230,235×2, 235×2, 240,245,250,255×1, 255,260,265×1, 225×2,2,2,2,2,2,3 (30)

If you had seen 310 you would have know why I didn’t go for a PR.  My big problem is balancing the weight.  My new form lets me keep my torso more vertical, which helps, but the last few sets were all “half-zerchers”. Still a good day.

I dunno, I had high hopes today for a PR.  It will come.
