495 was very intimidating to me bc it is 5x45lb plates on each side. However after I squatted it, I realized that it was only 5 lbs heavier than 490 and not something to be afraid of anymore. 

Push Press: 45×6, 95×3, 145×2, 185×1, 195×1, 200×1, 205×1, 210×1, 215×1; 185x6x2, 179x6x2 (24)

  1. I’m impressed by your squats. that’s just above 220 kg which really is a shitload of weight (pardon the language). do you currently have a certain number you’re aiming for (except 1 pound more than the day before)?

  2. Thank you. I shoot for 5 lbs more than last time. I have pretty much sworn off microplates for now I would go for more than 5 if it felt feasible. Ultimate goal: Who would not like to be a 300 kg squatter? Then I would feel like a strong man. But of course I would not be satisfied.
