Workout #26 – Thu 10/31/13

When I woke up this morning the back pain was mostly gone.

I realized that my problem on front squats wasn’t my use of straps, it was that I was holding them too close to the bar.  Watched a video of Rob Adell (sp) FS 500 lbs and he held the straps about 4-6 inches from bar.  Worked great today.

Realized I had been miscalculating kilos to pounds and was actually lifting a few lbs more than i thought.  Damn kilos.  Kilos are the reason Americans suck at Olympic lifting.

Ha, after 365, an all-time PR, my back started hurting again.  So i did a lot of stretching and back extensions and will probably skip one day of Deadlifting tomorrow. When i resume, no more over/under grip and no going ultra heavy for a while.

Went home and drank some wine instead of taking ibuprofen.
